Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Riyad Malki today held several meetings in New York with his counterparts on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly during which he briefed them on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Malki met with his Canadian, Mexican, Bulgarian, and Dutch counterparts and told them that Israel’s violations against the Palestinian people and land demand their immediate intervention to force Israel to stop these violations.
He said the Israeli escalation on the ground threatens peace and security in the region and the world.
The foreign ministers reiterated their governments’ support for the two-state solution to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
