Turkey will allocate the second site for construction of a nuclear power plant in the country, CEO of the Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom Alexey Likhachev said
ANKARA, February 28. /TASS/. Negotiations on implementation of the project on building the second nuclear power plant in Turkey are in progress, a spokesman of the Turkish Energy Ministry told TASS.
“We cannot furnish any specific information at this stage. Yes, negotiations on this topic continue [with Russia]; they have not ended. This is a lengthy process and it is underway for a long time so far. There are no data about any final decisions,” the spokesman said.
Turkey will allocate the second site for construction of a nuclear power plant in the country, CEO of the Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom Alexey Likhachev said earlier today. This would most probably be the “Sinop” site on the Black Sea, the chief executive said.
