On Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that at least 41,689 Palestinians have been killed, and 96,625 others injured since the Israeli military campaign began on October 7, 2023.
The latest statistics from the Ministry mark day 362 of the ongoing assault on Gaza, which has seen a series of devastating attacks on civilians and infrastructure. The Ministry reported that Israeli forces carried out five massacres against families in Gaza over the past 24 hours alone.
Casualties Continue to Rise
In the last 24 hours, 51 people were confirmed dead and 165 were injured, as reported by hospitals across Gaza. Many victims remain trapped under rubble, and emergency services, including paramedics and civil defense teams, are struggling to reach them due to ongoing strikes and blocked pathways.
School and Orphanage Hit in Recent Attack
Earlier on Wednesday, Palestinian media reported that more than 30 individuals were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a school and an orphanage in Gaza. This incident further highlights the escalating humanitarian crisis as civilian targets continue to be hit.
