Algeria’s national hydrocarbon company Sonatrach and the Chinese company Wanhua Chemical signed on Tuesday a contract to supply the Luanhua petrochemical complex with liquefied petroleum gas.
“The contract relates to the regular supply of Algerian liquefied petroleum gas to the Asian market,” the company said in a statement.
“The agreement represents an important shift for Algerian LPG exports, and also allows the inclusion of the Algerian LPG price reference in the world’s largest regional market,” the statement continued.
