Civilians Suffer Heavy Losses
Two Palestinians, including a young girl, died in airstrikes on Beit Lahia, north of Gaza, on Sunday night. Rescue teams reported several deaths and injuries after a mosque near Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza, was hit early Sunday morning.
Israel’s Military Confirms Strikes
The Israeli army confirmed the strikes. In their statement, they explained that the Israeli Air Force targeted Hamas terrorists in a command center, which they claimed operated from a building that used to be a mosque.
Homes Destroyed in Jabalia
Medics transferred 10 bodies and injured victims to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia Camp. This followed Israeli airstrikes that hit a house in Jabalia town on Saturday night. Another two Palestinians lost their lives when airstrikes bombed an apartment in the same camp.
Continued Airstrikes
Red Crescent medics moved three bodies and more injured individuals to Al-Awda Hospital. Israeli airstrikes had targeted a house in Bir Al-Naja, west of Jabalia Camp. In a separate incident, Israeli bombs killed two people near the Jabalia Services Club when they hit a water distribution truck.
More Attacks on Residential Areas
Israeli airstrikes continued, killing seven more Palestinians on Saturday evening. The attacks targeted two homes in Al-Nuseirat Camp and Jabalia, causing additional injuries and casualties.
