The Royal Navy has seized a shipment of weapons from a vessel traveling in the Gulf of Oman south from Iran, the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence announced on March 2. In a statement, the ministry said that the smuggling vessel was first detected by a United States fixed-wing intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance platform.
