The EU has agreed its 13th package of sanctions against Russia, the EU’s Belgian presidency announced on Wednesday on X (formerly Twitter).

US and British forces launch several attacks on Yemen coastal city of Hodeidah. The United States and Britain launched early on Wednesday a new joint aggression against Yemen, targeting the al-Arj and al-Jabana areas in the Hodeidah coastal governorate with several strikes. The aggression came shortly after the Yemeni Armed Forces announced over the past three days a series of operations against US and Israeli targets. At least two people have been killed when Israeli military aircraft carried out an airstrike against a residential building in the southwestern sector of the Syrian capital city of Damascus. The state-run al-Ikhbariyah Syria television news channel reported that an Israeli attack with a number of missiles targeted an apartment in the Kafr Sousa residential neighborhood in Damascus. US senator Bernie Sanders has slammed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for committing atrocities in the Gaza Strip, adding that the US cannot be complicit in Israel’s “horrific” war against the Palestinian people. “The whole world is watching. A Palestinian youth has been killed by Israeli forces on Wednesday during an army military raid into the city and camp of Jenin, north of the occupied West Bank, last night. Medical sources said that Arif Marwan Arif Ali, 26, from the village of Kafr Qaddum in Qalqilya, was killed during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of Jenin’s and camp.
