The United States and the UK have continued their acts of aggression against Yemen, conducting more airstrikes on Hudaydah and Sa’ada provinces. According to a Yemeni military source, American and British aircraft carried out as many as 15 strikes against the western province of Hudaydah as well as Sa’ada province in the country’s northwest, Yemen’s al-Masirah television network reported Sunday evening. A French delegation that visited the Rafah border crossing on Saturday has called for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, Jordan News Agency reported on Sunday.The delegation inspected the land crossing and humanitarian aid held up at the Egyptian border. French MP Eric Coquerel stressed the need to release both Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, starting with those detained administratively. Al Jazeera’s Wael Dahdouh’s mother dies
The mother of Al Jazeera’s Gaza bureau chief has died at a hospital in Gaza due to illness. Dahdouh, who has become a symbol of the perseverance of Palestinian journalists in Gaza, had lost his wife Amna, son Mahmoud, daughter Sham and grandson Adam , and now his mother to an Israeli air raid in October. Dahdouh was later wounded in an Israeli drone attack that killed his colleague, Al Jazeera cameraman Samer Abudaqa. Saudi Islamic Minister Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Asheikh on Sunday received Ambassador of Syria to the Kingdom Ayman Soussan at the ministry’s headquarters.
