The head of the religious council of Hezbollah resistance movement has soundly refuted Washington’s allegations that it is opposed to the spillover of the Israeli war on Gaza Strip, stressing that the latest US military strikes across Yemen dispute the claims.

Pro-Palestinian protesters interrupted US President Joe Biden’s speech several times during a campaign rally in Virginia state, chanting “Genocide Joe” amid Washington’s continued support for Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

A high-ranking Iraqi official has called on the United States to push for an end to the unreeling Israeli ground and air offensives against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, than to carry out strikes in Iraq against facilities run by the country’s anti-terror resistance groups.

King Salman on Tuesday chaired a session of the Saudi cabinet in Riyadh reaffirming the Kingdom strong stance against Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip.  The Council of Ministers stressed the necessity of an immediate ceasefire and for the prevention of the displacement of the population of Gaza. The cabinet called for the return to efforts to achieve lasting and sustainable peace. The Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov says his country is voicing concerns about the Israeli leadership’s stance to call into question the two-state solution. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov indicated on Tuesday that the United States is impeding all efforts to stop the ongoing war in Gaza. “Until now, our council has failed to provide an adequate answer to this truly momentous challenge. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi left Tehran for Ankara on Wednesday for his first state visit to Turkey as the president of Iran. The Iranian president is going to hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan and co-chair the 8th meeting of the High Council of Iran-Turkey Cooperation in Ankara. The two presidents are also scheduled to attend a joint press conference after the conclusion of several cooperation agreements between the two neighbors.
