Trump stated, “Together these world-leading technology giants are announcing the formation of
Stargate… a new American company that will invest at least $500 billion in AI infrastructure in
the United States. Remember this name because I think you’re going to hear a lot about it.”
Trump further noted that the project is expected to create over 100,000 jobs for Americans, with
investments planned over the next four years.
The announcement at the White House was attended by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Oracle co-
founder Larry Ellison, and SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son. Altman expressed his enthusiasm,
stating that Stargate will be “the most important project of this era,” while Ellison described it as
“a very exciting program for Oracle to be a part of.”
