The accused in organizing the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack named their coordinator. According to them, a man called Saifullo contacted them and promised one million rubles ($10,984) each. A video with the interrogation of terrorists by the FSB of the Russian Federation was shown on Channel One.
“Saifullo told us to go to Ukraine, to Kiev. They will give us one million rubles there,” one of the accused said during interrogation.
Another accused of organizing the terrorist attack said about the assistance they had been promised when crossing the Ukrainian border.
“We went to Kiev, where we had to wait for money – one million rubles each. Saifullo said that guys would be waiting for us there at the Ukrainian border who would help us cross the border and get to Kiev. <…> [The coordinator told them]: “Call me, then I will tell you what to do,” he said.
On the evening of March 22, a terrorist attack targeted the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, just outside the Moscow city limits. According to the latest data, 144 people were killed and 551 people suffered injuries. Eleven people, including four direct perpetrators, have been arrested for their part in the terrorist attack. The Russian Investigative Committee said that investigators had found evidence of the perpetrators’ connection to Ukrainian nationalists.
