Lebanese carrier Middle East Airlines (MEA) says it will keep five of its 24 planes in Turkey as a precaution in case an escalation in fighting occurs between armed groups in Lebanon and Israeli forces. In its latest update on the situation in the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Health said the number of people killed in 11 days of Israeli bombardment and air strikes has reached 3,000 while 12,500 people were injured.
