Lebanon’s Hezbollah says it fired rockets towards an Israeli army post in Shtoula, northern Israel, in response to the killing of Lebanese journalist Issam Abdallah and other civilians. Israel has used white phosphorus in its continuing military operations in Gaza and Lebanon, putting civilians at serious risk, Human Rights Watch has said, following an investigation. Five people were wounded in the suspected Israeli air attack on Syria’s Aleppo airport earlier tonight, a monitoring group says.
