Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed in a phone call on Wednesday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi the ongoing preparations for the Emergency Humanitarian Response Conference for Gaza, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said. The conference, organized jointly by Jordan, Egypt, and the United Nations, will be hosted in Jordan’s Dead Sea on 11 June. Kelly Magsamen is one of those involved in the January hospitalization controversy involving Austin and members of his staff.
