The UK’s defense minister Grant Schapps has said that the country is exploring options for shipping much-needed assistance from Cyprus to Gaza, including offloading aid in Israel where it could pass through the Kerem Abu Salem (called Kerem Shalom by Israel) crossing with the Gaza Strip. Palestinian news agency Wafa reports that at least five Palestinians were killed and others injured when Israeli bombs targeted a house belonging to the Darwish family in Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
