Israeli occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians this morning and last night during military raids in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
In Hebron, south of the West Bank, at least three Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli army in Hebron City and in the neighboring Al-Fawwar Refugee Camp and the town of Beit Awwa.
One of the three detainees, Yahya Zakaria Mehesen, 22, was reportedly beaten up by soldiers as they raided his family home in Al-Fawwar Refugee Camp and arrested him.
In occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes, local sources said.
In Jenin, in the north of the West Bank, at least two Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation army during a raid into the village of Rumana.
Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
