Dmitry Peskov added that the whole country “helps and will continue to help the new regions” in the speedy integration and in overcoming problems associated with the actions of the Kiev regime
The elections in Russia’s new regions were held in full compliance with the law, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
“The elections were held entirely within legal guidelines, in accordance with our laws. They are valid,” Peskov said when asked how the Kremlin assessed the elections held in the new regions. “The regions now have their leaders; we wish them success,” the spokesman added.
He emphasized that the whole country “helps and will continue to help the new regions.” “Both in their speedy integration and in overcoming problems associated with the actions of the Kiev regime. And so on and so forth. This work will continue on a permanent basis,” the Kremlin spokesman assured.
Elections in Russian regions within the framework of the Single Voting Day were held from September 8 to 10, with the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions taking part for the first time.
