All were members of the elite Ghost Unit, known as the multi-dimensional combat team of the Israeli military, specialized in handling complex battle environments. Another officer from the same unit sustained serious injuries.
Israeli media sources confirmed that the deaths occurred when an explosive device detonated inside a building in Jabalia. The fatalities added to the growing death toll, with the Israeli military now reporting that 776 soldiers have been killed since the conflict’s onset on October 7, 2023.

The ongoing military campaign in Gaza, particularly in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, has intensified since it began nearly a month ago.
