Doctors without Borders says bullets were fired into one of its three premises located near al-Shifa Hospital, where more than 100 people – including staff and their families – have taken shelter. The Egyptian foreign minister has rejected comments by the Israeli finance minister about the displacement of Palestinians outside Gaza. Sameh Shoukry said Bezalel Smotrich’s statement about the “voluntary displacement” of Palestinians, which we reported on earlier, “is an expression of the Israeli government’s policy that violates international laws”.
