Al Jazeera’s Youmna ElSayed, reporting from Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, says the situation at the medical facility is dire. “The situation in all Gaza hospitals is truly indescribable. Shifa Hospital, considered the largest hospital in the entire Strip, is overwhelmed by the number of bodies and wounded people,” Youmna said. “The morgue is full. 19 Palestinians were Tuesday morning killed in a massacre carried out by Israeli occupation warplanes in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. Local sources said that warplanes raided Al-Lahham family’s home in al-Namsawi neighborhood in the city of Khan Yunis, killing 11 citizens. Eight citizens from one family were also killed in the Bani Suhaila area of Khan Yunis in a second Israeli raid. Three Palestinian journalists have been killed in an Israeli air attack that hit a residential building near Gaza City’s fishing port, a media union and an official have said. The journalists’ syndicate announced “the martyrdom of three journalists in the Gaza Strip in the ongoing Israeli aggression”.
