Israel’s military has issued another statement defending its attack on Gaza City’s al-Tabin school, claiming without evidence it served as an “active compound” of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. In a devastating early morning attack, over 100 civilians have been killed and dozens more injured following an Israeli airstrike on the al-Tabin School in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City.  The school, which was housing displaced families, was hit by Israeli warplanes while residents were performing the dawn prayers.
