The Israeli military has announced that eleven Israeli soldiers were killed and several others sustained serious injuries while fighting members of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement in the northern part of the besieged Gaza Strip. Palestinian medical authorities say dozens of people have lost their lives and scores of others sustained injuries in a new “massacre” targeting the densely-populated Jabalia refugee camp in the northern sector of the besieged Gaza Strip.  The official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that several airstrikes hit the residential area of Faluja in the camp on Wednesday.
