The Turkish Statistical Institute reported on Monday that the annual inflation rate in Turkey witnessed a rise during the month of August, compared to July.He noted, in
statement Therefore, the annual inflation rate in Turkey rose in August 2023 to 58.94%, from 47.8% last July.
“There was a change in the general consumer price index (2003=100) in the previous month by 9.09%, and in December last year by 43.06%,” the institute said in its statement.
The statement added that the change also occurred “in the same month of the previous year by 58.94%, and on the 12-month moving averages, a basis of 56.28% in August 2023.”
